Transport / Service Corridor Maintenance

Microclimate has extensive experience managing railway and roadside corridors and the management of vegetation under power lines.  We are well aware of the inherent problems of linear parcels of land.

Microclimate can provide the following services:

  • designingbushland management strategies
  • revegetation
  • weed control
  • rubbish removal and waste management
  • community liaison
  • flora and fauna surveying and mapping
  • fire hazard management
  • erosion  control

Microclimate is committed to providing a safe work place and all staff are trained in relevant OH & S practices, such as rail safety training.  Safety policies are regularly reviewed and updated.

Two examples of our work in this area include:

RAIL SERVICES AUSTRALIA - NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL / REVEGETATION, NTH STRATHFIELD TO NEWCASTLE

Microclimate has successfully completed many contracts aimed at controlling selected noxious weeds along approximately 50 kms of railway corridor in northern Sydney.  We were also responsible for the establishment of thousands of native tubestock at numerous locations.  Microclimate has successfully completed many contracts for RIC along this section of corridor since 1996.

KILLARA GOLF CLUB - MANAGEMENT OF IRRIGATION EASEMENT
